We Want to Adopt

We understand the longing in your heart. We are mothers, ourselves. Adoption isn't for everyone, but if you are called, we are here to take the journey with you.

Adopting a child is a life-changing experience. Selecting an agency that assists you with legal expertise, a home study, birth parent contact, adoption counseling, and guidance is critical.

Birth mother care is the heart of our ministry, and couples choosing to work with New Life Adoptions must embrace that ministry. We believe that women who, when faced with an unplanned pregnancy, choose to give their babies life and place them in loving Christian homes deserve honor, respect, and care.

The Journey Before You

The challenge of infertility has taken a toll on you and your marriage, but there is a silver lining around that dark cloud—the promise of becoming a family, of children, of laughter, and love. For over 40 years, we have served women and families in Texas, placing over 540 babies in two-parent Christian homes.

Committed to the Biblical truths regarding the sanctity of life, we believe that every child is a miracle from God and deserves the opportunity of life. Bringing a new life into this world is not without difficulties, and we lovingly and unconditionally provide client care, personal support, factual information, and adoption services. We also refer women to the appropriate services to meet their individual needs.

We see the adoptive family as an extension of Christ to minister His love to the birth family, placing their baby for adoption. Our goal is to place children in homes where their parents will raise them according to the Word of God and come to an understanding of their need for redemption in Christ.

We also pray that each woman will transform her crisis into victory.

Placement in Texas

New Life Adoptions is a nonprofit child-placing agency that only places in Texas.

Texas adoption laws state that a birth mother must wait at least 48 hours after the birth of her child before terminating her parental rights by issuing her consent to adoption. If both birth parents gave consent properly, it becomes final.

As a result, the right of a birth parent to change their mind afterward is limited. Finalization usually occurs six months after placement with the adoptive family.

At New Life Adoptions, we will assemble the necessary paperwork, set up the court hearing, and assist you throughout the process. We’ll also help you obtain a new birth certificate and other essential records.

Compensation for the Birth Mother

Texas allows only licensed child-placing agencies to pay a birthmother’s medical, legal, counseling, and other pregnancy-related living expenses. Birth mother expenses paid by an adoption agency and/or the adoptive parents must be reviewed by a judge to be deemed “necessary and reasonable.”
